Each spring we host a glamorous clay shoot on the Duke of Westminster’s private estate in Lancashire, in aid of ABF, The Soldier’s Charity.
In 2014, this exclusive invitation-only event raised in excess of £35,000, will be repeated in 2015 when teams of four guns – and their guests – compete for an array of luxury and money-can’t-buy prizes.
Powered by Bentley, and in partnership with Longthorne Guns and Banks Lyon Jewellers, the event is a rare opportunity to experience one of the most spectacular shoots in the UK and culminates with a champagne reception and four-course lunch.
This is the first year the English gunmaker has attended the event, and it is generously donating one of its exquisite, handmade shotguns to the auction. Guests will also have the opportunity to try out one of Longthorne’s shotguns, which are made with the precision and accuracy of a Swiss watch, but with all the artistic flair and craftsmanship of traditional English gunmaking, and manufactured to fire Magnum steel cartridges.
